Built in 1890, the sanctuary features a 45' center aisle, hammer-beam trusses, original hand carved pews, Povey stained glass windows and a magnificent Jaeckel pipe organ. Our historic bell, housed high in the spire and cast out of civil war cannons, rings for all of downtown Portland to hear as you are pronounced a married couple. The sanctuary, both grand and intimate, comfortably accomodates small or large ceremonies.
